Victor and Rolf - Eau Mega New Fragrance

In October 2009 designers of Victor and Rolf Fashion House launched their second fragrance for women, the Eau Mega. The title is derived from the word “Omega,” which means completeness.
The noses behind the fragrance are Olivier Polge and Carlos Banaim. As they have stated, the perfume is a non-selective one and is not targeted at a certain group of people but is created for a wide audience and will possibly win the hearts of the masses.
The fragrance is genuinely fresh and airy. It begins with the notes of violet, basil and a sweet young pear that may remind some people of the popular chewing gum Wringley’s Spearmint. Basil and pear are risky to be mixed with each other as such combination makes the aroma feel watery.
Heart notes are represented by a classic flowery accord of peony, jasmine and lemon. The latter add to the freshness of the aroma to keep it cheerful and light. And at the base we smell the woody notes of cedar, sandalwood and musk. They as if echo the open notes and the base and embody morning fresh in the woods, the dance of blossoming flowers, and the youth!
The face of the Eau Mega became a Brasil model Raquel Zimmerman. Against the urban background she looks like a giant woman. In a word, the image of a “mega women” is used by Viktor & Rolf in their advertising campaign.
An oblong bottle is colored golden yellow. The peculiar feature is a sprayer with the letters V&R engraved on it. The fragrance is available in 30, 50 and75mm Eau de Parfum.
