Chanel - New Eau Verte 2009 Eau de Toilette Concentrée
The celebrated Chanel perfumery house launched the new Eau Verte 2009 Eau de Toilette Concentrée

The original Cristalle Eau de Toilette was the first Chanel perfume launched after the death of Mademoiselle Chanel in 1971, created by a perfumer Henri Robert. It is fresh with a honeysuckle taste of bitterness, very exquisite and feminine, with glittering notes of shipr. In the beginning it is slightly ungracious in its green astringency, but later as if thankful for your patience it “melts” and embraces your skin with tender jasmine and rose, all flavored with wet heady aroma of oak moss.
In 1993 – almost 20 year later - Jacques Polge created his own Eau de Perfume version under the same title. It was less astringent and sweeter, with much more fruit and citrusy notes.
Now we are glad to meet an entirely new and fresh interpretation of Chanel by the well-known Jacques Polge.
The Chanel Cristalle Eau Verte Eau de Toilette Concentrée reveals the fragrance of magnolia, jasmine, nerol, and citrus plants, with the notes of lemon and bergamot adding the feeling of lightness. It looks like a minute change but the aroma has changed greatly.
So, instead of the expected green aroma Cristalle, a new version of Chanel perfume turned out to be warmer, with summer breeze in it. When summer comes, one longs for freshness and weightlessness, for water, lush grass, transparent white flowers of blossoming trees and teasing brightness of citruses – everything that is found in Cristalle Eau Verte.
It is wonderfully refreshing and at the same time surprises by its persistent smell.
