Gucci - Gucci Flora New Fragrance
The Italian Fashion House of Gucci has launched a new fragrance named Flora. Light and airy, it is inspired by floral motifs from the past and is dedicated to a sensual youth, its sincerity, charm and gentleness.

In 1966 Gucci made a silk scarf with a flower ornament for the princess of Monaco Grace Kelly. Now we see this flower composition in a completely new embodiment. Restored by Gucci creative director Frieda Guanine, it continues to win admirers’ hearts in the 21st century.
Gucci Flora combines traditions with innovations, elegance of the past with the action of present days. It portrays its heroine as a young and brave Amazon, with a breath of fresh wind and drops of morning dew in her hair. She is the Goddess of Spring, reckless in her deeds and wishes. The face of the fragrance became an Australian model Abby Li Kershaw.
Though Flora’s aroma feels light and airy its composition is many-sided. It begins with clear and delicate citrus and peony notes, with the latter being the domineering ones. The aroma seems to be too sweet, but due to citrus fruits it is unobtrusive. The heart notes of rose and osmanthus, a very rare Chinese flower, add savor to the fragrance that continues in sandal and patchouli notes typical of all Gucci fragrances. It also underlines the passionate, the refined and the mature in a woman.
The bottle of Flora by Gucci made of transparent massive glass is six-sided. Around its neck a black ribbon adorned with golden bamboo tassels is tied in a bow, which adds to its elegancy. The fragrance is available in 30, 50 and 75ml Eau de Toilette.
