Guerlain - Idylle 2009 New Fragrance
At the end of September the French perfume house Maison Guerlain launched a new feminine fragrance with a floral base, Idylle. Its aroma is said to be really fantastic, pleasant, gentle and airy. It brings freshness of a morning into your life.

The nose behind the perfume is Thierry Wasseur. The perfumer was inspired by one of the loveliest ancient love stories, the legend of Dania and Zeus. He imagined Idylle as a bouquet of fresh lilies, roses, peonies, jasmine, lilac flowers and Bulgarian roses which favorably harmonize with sensual shiper.” That’s now the most exciting, fascinating and tragic love stories told by poets and novelists of all times acquire a new image in the world of fragrances.
Rose is the protagonist in all the perfumery masterpieces of Guerlain. This time, Bulgarian rose was chosen to create such an aroma that could accentuate the theme of a joyful moment of love and happiness. It wraps you with a flowery mist of lily, lilac, peony and freesia at the beginning and continues in white musk and patchouli notes.
The face of the fragrance became a French actress Nora Arnezeder personifying the main idea of the aroma that is sensual love.
